ParaRib™ mining grids have been developed from PARAGRID™ geogrids and are made from specially developed ParaWeb™ which is based on strips of a planar structure consisting of high tenacity polyester filament yarns encased in a tough and durable flame retardant, white, polymeric sheath.

ParaRib™ has been designed specifically for use in underground mining, where flame retardancy is a requisite. The white polymer used enhances light reflectance and visibility when used in areas of limited illumination. ParaRib™ is suitable for lining tunnel walls and for salvage applications.
