The TerraMesh™ System is a versatile modular system used for soil reinforcement applications such as mechanically stabilised earth walls and slopes. The facing section of the unit is formed by connecting the back panel and a diaphragm to the main mesh panel. This creates rectangular shaped cells used for stone confinement.

The wire used in the manufacture of the TerraMesh™ System is heavily zinc coated. A PVC coating of 0,5 mm nominal thickness is then applied to provide added protection for use in polluted environments where soil or water is acidic, in salt or fresh water or wherever the risk of corrosion is present. These units are made of hexagonal woven wire Mesh Type 80 commonly referred to as double twist wire mesh and supplied in standard lengths, requiring no cuts on site. In order to reinforce the structure, all mesh panel edges are selvedged with a wire having a greater diameter.
